Peter’s Carolina BBQ Skillet Pork Chops

Serves 4

4 ea Pork Chops Bone In – 4-5 ounces each

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Black Pepper

1 tsp Granulated Garlic

2 tbsp Oil

1 ½ cup Sliced Onions

2 cup Sliced Bell Peppers

1/3 cup Peters Carolina BBQ Sauce – western style

½ cup Tomato Sauce

salt and black pepper to taste


  • 1.Prepare a seasoning blend of the garlic, salt and pepper. Season the pork chops
  • 2.Heat large skillet over medium high heat, add oil
  • 3.Place chops in pan and brown on both sides, about 2 minutes per side.
  • 4.Add the onion, peppers stir and sauté for several minutes.
  • 5.Pour our Peters Carolina BBQ Sauce and tomato sauce over the pork and cover with lid.
  • 6.Over a low heat simmer the pork chops basting sauce over chops every 5 minutes, simmer for a total of 20 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°.Season to taste.
  • 7.Served over mashed potatoes, or steamed rice.
