Welcome to Purely American! Our Storytelling Mixes now number over 80 handcrafted bean soup, chili, pasta, and dessert mixes. These are now made in our new Athens, Ohio facility where we moved to in 2007. Along the way, we also discovered Virginia Peanuts.  Our incredibly crunchy Virginia Peanuts are still created by hand in Courtland, Virginia. Peters’BBQ Sauce was acquired in 1998 and in 2000 was voted one of the top three Carolina BBQ Sauces in America by the NBBQA.

Since then slow cooking has become all the rage led by our dried bean based Slow Cooker Gourmet - slow cooking dinner kits that are salt- free, all natural with no MSG. Our Urban Pantry Essentials line of organic beans based pantry jars have just been introduced to fit today’s return to cooking at home lifestyle. More dried bean products are in the works along with heirloom beans and a new market place, so stay tuned and visit often.
